Artist Statement: I'm obsessed with this vintage floral apron I have that is probably pretty tacky but I think it's beautiful like a child fixated on a Barbie doll. It's what I'd want to wear if I ever got married (except it's just a bottom front part). And that is why I floral-dazzled this to honor moms. They deserve much more than the prettiest apron but it's what we've got. — Kelli Manthei
